Warranty Information:
Lifetime Decks is proud of our work, and willing to stand behind our projects with a limited warranty. Our warranty is non-transferable (valid for original purchaser only) and applies to decks connected to a residential structure.

Structural Warranty:
Your 'Lifetime' deck is warranted against shifting, sagging, or other settling (due to improper installation of materials or failure of materials) for a 36-month period from the completion date of your deck. The warranty covers the structure of the deck - from the surface of the ground up - with the exception of the floor decking, which is not covered.

The following conditions are not covered by the warranty:
  1. Shifting, sagging, or settling caused by any excessive loads (e.g.; hot-tub, pool, etc.) placed on the deck, unless the deck was explicitly designed and built to handle the specific load in question.
  2. Damage caused by any external forces (e.g.; settling ground, foundation repair, fire, flooding, etc.).
  3. Damage caused by forces of nature (e.g.; earthquakes, tornados, excessive wind, etc.).
  4. This warranty does not cover cosmetic imperfections.
If a warrantable defect is found, the purchaser shall be entitled to receive repair and/or replacement (at the discretion of Lifetime Decks) of the defective material(s) at no additional charge within this warranty period. To arrange for this repair/replacement, the original owner must contact Lifetime Decks within the 36-month warrantee period. The original purchase invoice must be presented at the time warrantee-related arrangements are made.

Craftsmanship Warranty:
Your 'Lifetime' deck is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a 12-month period from the completion date of your deck.. This warranty covers both craftsmanship (e.g., deviation from specifications, poorly cut boards/joints, and loose materials) and materials defects (e.g., excessive board warping, large splits in lumber, crooked lumber, and missing/loose knots).

This warranty does not cover minor splitting, cracking, or checking of wood that does not impact the structural integrity of the deck. Lumber is expected to develop small cracks as a function of climatic changes. Lifetime Decks warrants against splits in the lumber that may affect the integrity of the deck, but does not warrant against normal checking and cracking of lumber.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by any external forces, including but not limited to the climate, fire, or improper use.
If a warrantable defect is found, the purchaser shall be entitled to receive repair and/or replacement (at the discretion of Lifetime Decks) of the defective material(s) at no additional charge within the warranty period. To arrange for this repair/replacement, the original owner must contact Lifetime Decks within the 12-month warrantee period. The original purchase invoice must be presented at the time warrantee-related arrangements are made.
